Published in "Antiquities of Britain, VOL.1; from drawings by Thomas Hearne (1786)". Drawn by T.Hearne (Thomas Hearne) (1744-1817) His techniques were studied by younger artists such as Thomas Girtin and J. M. W. Turner. Engraving size 10 x 7 inches. Currently in the original frame by framers H.Alden & Co, Oxford street London which was founded in 1832 to produce anti slavery literature.
This is a really nice piece with lots of interesting connections.
