This is an incredibly rare picture. I have not removed the backing as it has been framed professionally but I do know that the famous forgerer Eugene Field Jr signed his forgeries of Frederic Remington's work by a bucking horse on the "F". I am sure this is the work of the forgerer Eugene Field. What I cannot tell is when the print was made if it was signed after or before printing. I cannot find another of the painting A Crow Scout with the forgers signature. It is in any case a stunning picture in beautiful colour and very well framed. A beautiful picture by a master forgerer who left an iconic signature of his own.
